I have realized that my giant marimo has been growing like crazy!
I tried to figure out why, I took all of my marimo out and saw that they all where begining to grow and look very fuzzy. So, I did some research and figured out algae actually grows BETTER the warmer the water!
everyone thinks marimo are so slow growing but mine are growing like weeds!
The temp is in the mid 60's and I have a light on 12 hrs a day. I would say that they have grown about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in about two months!
So, anyone want to grow marimo very fast? just use warmer water, and make sure that they are not in the dark!
look at how fuzzy and healthy this one looks!
